Each year I try to post at least a few times during National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. In keeping with the theme of this year’s NEDA Week (“I Had No Idea…”), I plan to provide some links to information about the myriad ways eating disorders impact individuals regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, country of origin, or age.
Today I thought I’d share a link to the NEDA Week Memory Game — a fun way to learn more about factors that contribute to the development of disordered eating and signs/symptoms of disordered eating. So, start learning by clicking here: NEDA Week 2015 Memory Game. One of the facts you’ll learn is that “athletes are at heightened risk for developing eating disorders”.
If any of the information you learn sparks interest or questions, feel free to email me or post a comment. I’ll try to check the comments more frequently this week.
Peace, joy, and health,
